Skin TypesSkin can be divided into various types according to its texture:
Normal skinThis skin type is an perfect kind with a smooth and even texture, usually blemish free and without any greasy patches or flakes. It has a convenient balance between oil and moisture contents and is therefore moist and neither greasy nor dry. It appears clear and does not develop spots and blemishes. The pores of the skin are fine and scarcely visible. It reverberates good health and needs gentle treatment. A daily skin-care program combined with a balanced, healthy diet helps keep normal skin stay supple and young. Dry skinDry skin has a dry scorched appearance and has a tendency to flake easily. Dry skin is fine-pored skin that appears dull. It has a sallow tone and also is simply irritated. Those having dry skin will be unhesitatingly experiencing from flawlessness, taut and flaky feeling and also hardly breaks into spots. This skin type feels more decent with night creams, moisturizers and voila. Dry skin often has problems in cold weather and ages faster than normal or oily skin. Recurrent protection is very important. It requires a moisturiser during the day and a good cream at night. Oily skinThis type of skin is caused by the over secretion of sebum making the skin surface oily. Large pores are the essential feature of oily skin. After each wash the skin feels refreshed and by the midday it even looks glossy. But the texture of the skin appears to be coarse and thick too. The most influential feature about oily skin is that it often breaks out into spots. This type of skin desires to be cleansed thoroughly. It is less sensitive to external factors, to drying out and stress and for this reason is less contingent to wrinkles and signs of ageing. Combination skinThis type of skin is very common. It is a partially dry and partly oily skin. The central part of the face: the forehead, nose, chin and parts of the cheek-look shiny and oily. The other parts appear dry. The growth of combination skin type happens with time. It generally develops from the skins which were considered to be oily during the puberty. It is a proven actuality the combination skin changes with time, age, seasons, hormonal fluctuations and even the environment. Sensitive skinThis type of skin has a fine texture and is very sensitive to changes in the sorroundings. People having this skin type should avoid products with dyes, perfumes, or unnecessary chemical ingredients which may irritate the skin. It has to be taken especial care always. Those having sensitive skin will not be capable to use every cosmetic available in the market. Thus a patch test is recommended always before using any kind of cosmetic. Use cosmetics which are alcohol free, emulsifier free and even fragrance free skin and face care products.
