Greasy SkinA greasy skin looks shiny, thick, and dull colored. It usually has blackheads and is prone to acne. Skin which feels great when you take off for work in the morning but feels greasy by lunch; these are all too versant scenarios for those of us with oily skin. Greasy skin needs more cleansing than other skins. Grease tends to pluck up dirt and grime which clog the pores and produce blackheads. Having greasy skin is generally related with teenagers, the hormone rush during puberty stimulates the sebaceous glands that then creates more oil. But the difficulty isn't confined to that one age group - the hormone ups and downs of pregnancy can change a woman's skin type quite drastically, and some people simply are more inclined to have greasy skin no thanks to their genes. Use a mild skin tonic. The toning will improve the circulation and the texture of the skin. Moisturizing a greasy skin is not vital, but you may use a non-greasy moisturizer only in the day. An oily or greasy skin is likely to pimples and dark shadows. It, thence requires frequent cleansing, say thrice a day atleast. Use of sulphur soap is helpful.
