Treatment & Care Tips for Split EndsWet hair should not be brushed. The juice of leaves of bhongra massaged on the head is effective hair tonic. Don't brush too energetically, as tension caused by brushing promotes splitting. Instead, brush gently from crown to ends using a soft-bristled brush. Have a Trim routinely. Sleep with silk or satin pillowcases as the smooth surface on your pillow will minimize tangling, which can lead to split ends. Use a shampoo which lists sunscreen as a major ingredient. It's perfect to use a wide tooth comb if your hair is vulnerable to splitting. To control the issue of falling hair, massage with olive oil. Dip towel in hot water and then cover your head with that towel. Do it again when it get cools. Do this for 15 minutes before shampooing.
