Hair Rinse

A hair rinse is one trick of conditioning the hair. As the scalp supplies which hair with the protein and nutrients through a network of blood vessels, the most efficient hair rinses act straight on the scalp than on the hair shafts themselves. One of the two kinds of rinses are chemical and natural. A good hair rinse should help to revive the acid-alkaline balance of the scalp, that can be upset by harsh shampoos and chlorinated water. It also helps to add shine and body to the hair.

Some home ingredients can be used as a hair rinse. Tea and beer rinses are known to improve the impression of the hair. For a tea rinse boil used tea leaves in sufficient water. Lemon juice can be added to a mug of water and used as a last rinse. This should benefit oily hair. Honey helps to moisturise a dry scalp. Natural hair rinses also revamp damaged hair by strengthening it and giving it a more fresh appearance. They nutrines the hair follicules and promote healthy growth.

Herbs are selected for dry, normal or oily hair. Different herbs can be added for your hair color to enhance the color. Rinse hair with beer to add gloss and body. Once a month use a can of flat beer. After applying beer rinse, you can rinse off with warm, not hot water. The beer performs as a natural setting lotion, giving blown dried hair increased vitality, resilience and hold.

To apply a natural rinse, do the same preparation as if you were boiling tea. Pour one cup of boiling water over a teaspoon of herbs. Steep for ten minutes, then strain. Massage into scalp gently and evenly, leave it on the hair without rinsing and then dry your hair with a dry soft towel. Avoid blow drying if possible.

Types of hair rinses

  • Calendula: This will bring out the aubrun and red-highlights of medium colored hair.
