Dandruff Treatment - Get Rid of DandrufDandruff is a cabalistic ailment. Dandruff is due to the immoderate shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp. It is assessed that as much as 97% of the population of the United States will at some point in their lives have a form of dandruff, but there is still a lack of total agreement about this condition. Though dandruff isn't infectious and is rarely serious, it can be embarrassing and surprisingly peculiar. It is a type of skin inflammation which has no known cause. This condition can appear at any time from nonage to old age, and can come and go more or less at random. Dandruff is most commonly present in people between the ages of 12 and 80. Dandruff is supposed to be associated with an overgrowth of a fungus commonly found on the skin and scalp, called Pityrosporum ovale. Serious cases of dandruff are caused by a disease known as seborrhoeic eczema or seborrhoeic dermatitis. Seborrhoeic dermatitis causes greasy, bran-like scale. Prescribtion from a doctor should be sought-after if dandruff is persistent or develops into sores or abscesses, as this could indicate a more serious condition. Dandruff may also be caused by overmuch dryness or by psoriasis. Some people have both conditions, that makes diagnosis difficult. Seborrhoeic dermatitis and psoriasis can be not easy to tell apart. If you have dandruff, the process of skin renewal swifts up to twice the normal rate, so a greater number of dead cells are shed. Dandruff can be also be because of nutritional deficiencies. Dandruff is not an organism like lice; it is just dead skin which accrues in the scalp. Dandruff may be caused by a form of a skin condition called eczema, that causes increased shedding of normal scalp skin cells. Dandruff is improbably to be the cause of hair loss. Few people, however, either chronically or as a result of certain triggers, experience an exceptionally large amount of flaking, which can also be accompanied by redness and irritation. It can be complicated to prevent dandruff completely, but it can be controlled. The condition may also improve as you age. People with oily hair tend to have dandruff more frequent. Dandruff usually does not need clinical treatment. Dandruff develops eventually. White or yellow (greasy) flakes arise on the hair and scalp, that may be accompanied by itching and redness. As more men than women have dandruff, some researchers believe male hormones may play a role in dandruff. Men also have larger sebaceous glands which produce an oil called sebum. Mild cases of dandruff may require nothing more than routine shampooing with a gentle cleanser, and stubborn flakes usually react to medicated shampoos. If dandruff does not disappear within few weeks using a good shampoo, an anti-dandruff shampoo may solve the problem. Treatment of DandruffHere is list of the methods for treating Dandruff:
