Eyeliners are meant to outline the eyes so they should do just that, not be the focal point of your makeup. Eyeliners come in different colors and forms liquid, pencil etc. Keep the eyeliner natural. Another tip to retain pure-looking eyes is using salt. Put a bit salt into a water tub and wash your eyes everyday with that liquid. This technique will help your eyes look bright and pure.

Dark rings around your eyes can be another difficulty. If you have some coconut oil, use it to rub around your eyes for around five minutes a day. It will help lessen the dark rings eventually.

In addition, there is another easier way to deal with those dark rings. You can dip a piece of cotton into some cold milk and lay that cotton piece over the dark rings.

If your eyes get swollen, a quick way to help reduce the redness is to put a clean spoon into the fridge and then smoothly press that spoon onto the redness for some minutes. This is a simple but very effective and frequent way.

Eye shadow Applying Tips

These are the basic techniques for the following eye shapes:

Small eyes: Don't use too much shadow or liner. It will make you eyes look smallish.
Wide-set eyes: Use darker colors on the inner corners of the eye.
Round eyes: Make round eyes longer by using color all around and extending toward the outer corners.
Oriental eyes: Apply highlighter under the brow.
Large eyes: Wear darker shadow on the lid and extend it to the crease.

Tips for applying eye shadow

Apply shadow after liner for a softer, dreamier effect.
Apply an eyelash curler to give lift to lashes. Apply a coat of mascara to set it that way.
A thick coat of mascara will add that extra effect to your eyelashes giving the eyes a hooded sexy look.
Never line the inside rim of your lower lashes; this will make eyes look even smallish.
