Eye Makeup Tips

Eye Makeup TipsYou can improve your eye shape by experimenting with colour and texture. With some skilful shaping and shading, the eye can be made to look-completely different. Identify the shape of your eyes and follow the eye makeup tips given.

For small eyes : Pluck the eyebrows fine to give maximum eye area. Use a little shadow under the lower lashes as well as on the top of the lid. Blend the shadow on the upper lid from the centre outwards, curving it upwards towards the browin the shape of a wing . Line both the lids, extending the meeting line fairly out,to increase the length of the eyes; Mascara both the upper and lower lashes, using two coats on the outer lashes only.

For wide-set eyes : Pencil the eyebrows close to each other. Add a little shadow onto the bridge of the nose or blend your shadow close to the corner of the nose and stop at the centre of the upper lid. To make the eyes appear a little closer, start outlining the upper lid from the inner corner of the eye, bringing it near the nose ridge, leaving just the width of one eye in between the two eyes. Continue the line towards the outer corner but not quite extend-ing up to it.

For close-set eyes : Shape the eyebrows so that they don’t have the close-together appearance. Use the eyeshadow on the upper outer half of the lid extending above the eye and under the brow. To offset the closeness of the eyes, start drawing the eye line on the upper lid away from the inner corner. Draw it up and out. Similarly, the lower line should not begin from the inner corner.

For deep-set eyes : Use a dark eyeshadow under the eyebrow, but not on the lid, where if you want to, you can use a lighter eyeshadow. -Line only the lower lid and extend the line fairly out and up.

For round eyes : Make sure the shape of your eyebrows is angular. Blend your eye shadow from the centre of the lid and deepen it at the outer edge of the eye, extending it a little beyond the outer corner of the eye. Line the upper lids, starting from the inner corner and extend it out and up so as to suggest length.

Beauty of Lips Through Lipstick

Beauty of LipsEvery beauty-conscious woman must be aware of the shade of lipstick to be used which should be commensurate with the shape of her face, curves of lips, complexion and her clothes. Moreover, one must take into consideration age, colour of hair. Carelessness can mar the looks. Lipstick is considered a morale booster, and is essentially helpful in giving her self-respect and self-confidence.

Lipstick can change the look of lips - broad lips can be made to look thin and vice versa and the shape of lips can also be moulded to some extent. If you have a small face use light shade on lower lip and darker tinge on upper lip. Likewise, apply light shade on upper lip and dark on lower lip if lips are thin. For broad lips reduce the outline considerably. On the contrary for making thin lips look broad increase the outline. Uneven lips can be given desired shape according to your face by making an appropriate outline.. For thickness apply two coats. Remove it before going to bed. It is advisable to use a good quality product; sub-standard product can spoil the skin.

Care for Combination Skin

A combination skin requires special care since you will have to combine two different types of care for the two different zones. One for the oily T-zone and another for the dry areas. Cleanse the oily part with an astringent or a strong skin tonic and the cheeks shoufd be treated as you would treat a dry skin. Lubricating and nourishing are the main requirements of the dry zone. Apply a good moisturiser during the day time and a rich nourishing cream during the night. The oily T-zone should not be put under the heavy creams, as that will only aggravate the oiliness. For that area, just a mild, oil free moisturiser is fine.

Why does the hair split?

The hair splitting is due to a slight bio-chemical imbalance (lack of certain fatty acids). This reveals itself under a microscope as a tiny mushroom set like a parasite on each hair. In spring this capillary phenomenon is normal and goes away without special treatment. You should not brush your hair too hard, use too many chemical based products or use the blow dryer.

Shaving Hair Removal

Many women choose to shave their legs and under arms.

It is probably the quickest method of hair removal, but it has to be very regular, because regrowth is very fast. A stubble can appear within tree days, or even less.

You should shave towards the direction of hair growth and exercise caution by applying a ild antiseptic solution, in case of nicks or cuts.

If there is bleeding apply ice to stop it.

Marks and Blemishes on the face

Often pimples, acne, rashes or inflammation of the skin may produce dark marks or blemishes, which are called post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. These marks or blemishes may take a long while to fade or blend in with the lighter surrounding skin.

These marks do take a very long time to clear. If you don’t see my sign of improvement after a month, it is best to consult a dermatologist.
